The Bump aka Carlos

Well, it's becoming more and more obvious that my body is changing. I have a small baby bump and I've had to increase my bra size. Though I'm a little embarrassed, I'm uploading a picture of the bump. The changes are noticeable so we've decided that we're far enough along in the pregnancy that it's safe to tell Sydney & Jud. They'll have a lot to process and we want to give them time to get used to the idea before we formally announce the news. They are both very excited and also a little worried about loosing some attention. We expected the mixed emotions and are glad they are more happy and excited than worried. Jud thinks we should call the baby Carlos whether it's a boy or a girl. He's hilarious. So he's taken to calling the baby Carlos. When we find out whether it's a boy or a girl I'm hoping we can decide on a real name and that Carlos won't stick. Weird craving this week: Orange Juice and Sharp Cheddar Cheese... yes, together. That craving I had for meat is long gone and I'm loving fruits and vegetables. I'm still feeling well, but feel best in the morning and early afternoon than in the evening.

Week 9: Green Olive
Your little embryo has now officially graduated to fetus-hood. Adding to the excitement, a Doppler ultrasound device might be able to pick up the beating heart. With basic physical structures in place and increasingly distinct facial features, baby is kind of starting to look like... well... a baby!
