Since my sense of smell and taste are heightened I'm having a hard time finding foods that I want to eat. It's tough meal planning for the family when everything sounds yucky! I finally decided I'd like to have pancakes and sausage for dinner. Since the baby is about the size of a blueberry I wanted to buy some at the grocery store so I could see/hold it and see how big it is. So Ruggs made us blueberry pancakes and I make sausage links for dinner. They were perfect! Blueberries are really bigger than you think! In addition to the lack of appetite, I've started getting up once during the night to use the restroom. It's a big change since I'm a pretty heavy sleeper and usually sleep through the night. I know it's my body's way of preparing me, but I'm wondering if has to start quite so early?!
Week 7: Blueberry
Baby's brain -- both hemispheres! -- is growing fast, generating about 100 new cells every minute. Arms and legs are emerging as joints start to form, and a permanent set of kidneys (baby's third!) is now in place.
