Parades and Football and Dances! Oh My!

I've had to break the blog into 2 separate parts. Joe's birthday is coming soon...

Meanwhile, Syd and Jud have been jam packed with exciting events between Marching in Parades, Powder Puff, Homecoming and the Band State Championships.

Ruggs and I ran our first 5k at Broomfield Days in September. We didn't finish "well", but we finished and JT got his first race in the stroller. I'm "training" (with stroller and Krash) for future 5k races so that I can stay motivated throughout the winter. I've shave 1 minute off my time this week!

We stayed for the Broomfield Days Parade.
Joe got to see his first parade at Broomfield Days!
He likes the music and marching bands.
Syd joined us!
Jud Marched in the Broomfield Days Parade with the LHS Band (See him there with his Sax - 3rd one from the left?).

Syd played in the Powder Puff football game again this year. The Seniors won and she walked away with only a minor concussion! :)
GO SYD!
She's #26

Joe enjoyed the Homecoming Game!
The kids all dressed in togas for the spirit week.
Jud performed in the LHS Marching Band during half time of the Homecoming game.

Jud got to go to his first Homecoming Dance, while Sydney attended her last as Senior.
All dressed up!

Jud and the Legacy High School Lightning Marching Band won first place in the State Championships on Saturday, October 22, 2011! We were very proud of Jud for all this dedication and hard work. He's spent many long hours this fall going to practices and competitions. Now, they start practicing for the Macy's Day Parade in New York!

We're excited to see Jud in Macy's and he will also be marching in the Parade of Lights in Denver this year! Be sure to turn on the tube on Thanksgiving Day and look for Legacy High School in blue and gold!

Sydney is getting ready to apply to colleges. She's toured DU, CSU and CU. Such an exciting time for her as well! This time next year she'll be in college....
